Dress In The Hallway
“The man on stage ain't bulletproof”
Life on the road, and the woman waiting at home.
Your requests. My originals.
Two ways to hear Seth live. In the request show, the room picks from more than 1,000 songs. In Chords & Conversations, he plays only his own songs and tells the stories behind them.
Guests scan a QR code on their phones and choose from more than 1,000 cover songs and over 100 originals. Seth plays the requests live, so the room builds the set and no two nights are alike.
A typical show runs three to four hours, and longer when the room warrants.
Seth has written more than 100 original songs. Here are a few of them, with a line from each in his own words.
“The man on stage ain't bulletproof”
Life on the road, and the woman waiting at home.
“I've been carrying years like loose change,
In the pockets of an old regret”
Not where he thought he'd be, and not finished yet.
“She ain't a red flag, she's the whole damn banner”
A woman who is trouble, and worth it.
“The world moved on we didn't”
A midnight New Year's kiss that never ended.
Watch on YouTube“She walked in like a cracked church window”
Drawn to a woman you know will wreck you.
“Don't feel sorry for me as you grow older
Just remember who I was in the town of little soldier”
A fallen soldier speaks from his grave on the hill.Written with Virgil Lee Gattenby
“He said don't just stand tall, be tall.”
Old Man Jack's lesson after a schoolyard fight.
“Granddad kept his Bible on the dash of his truck
Said faith ain't luck, boy, it's getting back up”
Lessons from a granddad, a dad and a brother.
The word solid comes to mind, solid and artful.

Chords & Conversations with Seth Malone is a more intimate show inspired by the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville. Seth plays only his original songs, no covers, and tells the stories behind them.
Great to hear Seth’s originals and hear the stories behind them.
